The Last Tsar

Russia /Uk 2004 .120 Mins.

On July 18 1918 the entire Imperial Family of Russia was murdered by the Bolsheviks. For decades their fate remained a mystery, whilst rumours persisted that some of the family members had survived, until film director Gely Ryabov discovered their remains in a Siberian forest. His discovery stunned the world.

Now for the first time the true fate of the Tsar and the family has been dramatised in this extradonary film; the men who searched for the truth and attempted to bring the killers to justice, the flawed investigation and the cover up are revealed. A film that resolves one of the most compelling and tragic mysteries of the twentieth century.
